London · Nationwide
We consult, design and install bespoke battery storage, solar generation, heat pump systems, advanced home automation and architectural lighting — exclusively for the UK's finest residences.
What We Do
Each system we specify and install is chosen for its performance, longevity and integration capability — then delivered by our in-house teams with meticulous attention to detail.
High-capacity residential battery systems — from whole-home backup to grid-optimised energy arbitrage. We specify, integrate and commission solutions from leading manufacturers, sized precisely to household demand profiles.
Discreet, high-efficiency photovoltaic installations designed around architectural constraints. We work closely with architects and planning consultants to achieve planning consent where required, and specify premium panel technology that maximises output per square metre.
Air source and ground source heat pump installations engineered for high-performance homes. We conduct full heat loss surveys, design low-temperature distribution systems and manage all MCS certification and BUS grant applications on our clients' behalf.
Truly intelligent homes: unified control of climate, security, access, AV, blinds and energy systems through a single, intuitive interface. We design open-protocol architectures that remain serviceable and expandable for the life of the property.
Lighting design that enhances architecture, artwork and daily life. We work from initial concept through to commissioning, specifying fixtures, designing control schemes and programming intuitive scene sequences that respond to time of day, occupancy and occasion.
Our Approach
Every Lunkwill & Fook project begins with listening. We spend time understanding how a home is actually lived in — the rhythms, the requirements, the aspirations — before we put pen to paper on a system design.
Our teams combine consulting-grade analytical rigour with decades of hands-on installation experience. We're equally comfortable presenting to architects and M&E engineers as we are on site.
We act as a single point of responsibility: one contract, one team, one warranty. Our clients — and their architects — never have to arbitrate between subcontractors.
Discuss Your ProjectSite visit, load analysis, architectural review and planning risk assessment. We establish what's possible and what's optimal before any commitment is made.
Detailed system schematics, equipment schedules, 3D visualisations and fully costed proposals. Prepared to RIBA Stage 4 standard where required.
We manage supplier relationships, lead times and site programme, coordinating with main contractors and specialist trades to ensure seamless integration.
Carried out by our own directly employed engineers. Every installation is signed off against a formal commissioning protocol before handover.
Annual servicing plans, remote monitoring and a direct line to our engineering team. We stand behind every system we install.

About the Practice
Lunkwill & Fook was founded by engineers who spent formative years on major residential schemes — luxury developers, high-end design practices and specialist M&E consultancies — before establishing an independent practice dedicated exclusively to the private home.
We are a deliberately compact team. Every project is led personally by a founding partner, supported by directly employed project engineers and a curated network of specialist installation crews. We do not subcontract our responsibilities.
Our London base serves the capital's prime residential neighbourhoods — Mayfair, Belgravia, Chelsea, Notting Hill, Hampstead — while our regional capacity extends to the Home Counties, the Cotswolds, the South West, East Anglia, Yorkshire and Scotland.
Working with Us
We work with a select group of manufacturers and distributors whose products meet our exacting standards for quality, reliability and long-term support. We are always open to hearing from suppliers of premium battery, solar, heat pump, automation and lighting products who believe they can add value to our projects.
If you represent a product or service relevant to our work, we welcome introductions. Please contact us with a brief overview and we will be in touch if there is a suitable fit.
